Limited Edition Metal Art Print "Alien No. 1" is a macro image of an interesting small fern frond unfurling. This fern photograph was captured in Lincoln Park Conservatory in Chicago, Illinois. I was thrilled to see such an usual fern and plan to go back soon to revisit this wonderful place and its resident ferns.

Ferns are my very favorite plants, which is saying a lot since I have a lot of favorite plants! I get very excited when I see something as unusual and beautiful as this to photograph. Ferns are most certainly my favorite subjects for nature photography in general and for macro photography in particular.

This fern art print will be professionally printed on aluminum in 16x24 size in a satin finish for minimal glare with a clear metal base which allows the natural metal color and texture to come through.

This metal print is SPECIAL ORDER ONLY. It will be drop-shipped by my professional photo lab, ready to hang, framed to the edge in 1.25 inch black aluminum, with a hanging wire on the back of the print (please see photos 2-4 for this item).

This image will be digitally signed by the artist. A signed certificate of authenticity with edition number (#3 of only 26 total) will be mailed separately to purchaser.

*Regarding Limited Edition Art Prints: I reserve the right to print these images in other formats and/or aspect ratios! For example, I may print a version or “crop” of an image as a greeting card or a smaller print on a different substrate such as canvas or paper. However, the original limited edition will not be extended once it has been fulfilled.
